I think what initially caught my attention to the show (besides Austin Butler's good looks) was the insane wardrobe. 80's fashion never stops coming back. Sometimes it's for the good, sometimes for the bad. This is definitely for the good.
I love how everything is 80's, but with the most incredible modern twist. Almost every preview snippet or leaked photo I've seen from TCD has had at least one outfit in it that I'm dying to get my hands on (see "Carrie's" beautiful dress above). I can't wait to start watching and see more of the wardrobe! And to see more of Austin Butler!
80's fashion. Manhattan. Austin Butler. Young Carrie Bradshaw. This show is everything I've been waiting for in life.

I am so excited for this! The costume department have done a fantastic job from what I've seen so far and I can't wait to see more of Austin Butler too!
